At Shirvan Aqro, we believe that the foundation of a healthy and highly productive livestock herd is built from day one. In line with modern global standards, we closely monitor and manage our calves’ nutrition, health, and age-based grouping.

Infrastructure & age groups

Breed: Holstein

Our facility operates a total of 7 specialized farms designed for different development stages, ensuring optimal living conditions:

  • 1 farm for animals aged 0–2 months
  • 2 farms for animals aged 3–12 months
  • 4 farms for animals aged 13–22 months

The 0–2 month section

With the first birth registered on May 14, 2025, this section has a total capacity of 700 calves. The farm is divided into two separate zones of 350 heads each to raise male and female calves independently. Currently, it houses 732 calves (533 female and 199 male).

Nutrition & health

To raise a healthy herd, we enrich our calves’ diet with premium milk replacers fortified with essential vitamins and minerals. The feeding process is fully automated and delivered fast and hygienically using motorized “milk taxis.”
