The Holstein is an international breed of dairy cattle. Its homeland is considered to be the province of Friesland in the Netherlands and Schleswig-Holstein in northern Germany. This breed is dominant in the dairy industry worldwide and is found in more than 160 countries. Milk yield for one lactation period is 5000-7000 liters. However, through breeding and selection using advanced technology, it can easily achieve a milk yield of 10,000 liters.
